Wallaroo Golf Club Covid-19 Playing Policy 

 

At the Club’s Committee meeting on Tuesday the 13th of March 2022, the Committee in light of changing SA Health restrictions and a reduction of mandated vaccination (SAPOL.)

That as of April 1st , competition golf will be open to all attendees regardless of vaccination status.

This ruling will be enacted as of 31st March (at 11.59 pm).

Guidelines will  be in place as follows:

Non-vaxed persons can play in Club Competitions and events on the following basis:

• Entry to the Club House and Amenities is not allowed and remains current until WCSC change their guidelines,

• Score cards will need to be obtained from captain in the outside area,

• The use of the MiScore app for phones can be used instead of a physical match card if preferred,

• It remains a players choice if they wish to play with a non-vaxed person, and to advise captain accordingly.

Guidelines will continue to be reviewed at monthly meetings as per original advice to members.

Appendix A: Designated Competition Days and Official Events

Tuesday Mornings 8.30am to 12.30 pm

Wednesday Afternoons 11.30am to 4.30pm

Saturday Afternoons 11.30am to 5.00pm

Events such as Ambrose, Corporate, Opens  etc.
